Scholarship Essay Contest
The Cumberland Historical Society Scholarship is derived from money raised by the Cumberland Historical Society through donations, fund raisers, and all other forms of contributions acceptable pursuant to Section 501(c)(3) or any other section of the Internal Revenue Code and applicable Treasury Regulations, as the same may be amended from time to time.
The scholarship will be awarded to a Cumberland Greely graduate who has been accepted for full time admission to a college, university, or trade school and will be based solely on the essay. The award will be distributed upon proof of successful completion of the applicant’s first year of school and will be delivered to the applicant payable to the school of choice for the beginning of the second year.
Past winners include Jenifer Spencer and Madison Rawnsley in 2018, and Riley Soule in 2017.
